Mariah Claiborne’s journey began as a praise and worship leader and a campus ministry leader at her university, serving wherever she felt the Lord calling her. During a missions trip, leading high school-aged students to Christ, her love for Word deepened in ways she could have never imagined. Seeing lives transformed and hearts awakened gave her new fire to teach, preach and encourage others in their walk with God.

Her parents, who demonstrated the gospel to her by the example of their lives, instilled in Mariah the values of hard work, perseverance and, most importantly, a genuine love for Christ, lessons that shaped every aspect of her life and ministry. Today Mariah serves as an elder within One Way Churches International, and as an educator, committed to creating opportunities for people to grow in their giftings.

God has also given her the unique gift of a spiritual midwife, helping others to birth and push out the purpose with which God has impregnated them. Whether in the classroom, the pulpit or a one-on-one conversation, Mariah’s heart is to see people live fully in the calling God has for them. A graduate of High Point University, Mariah is a preacher, a teacher, a wife to her husband, Marquist and a proud mother to their two beautiful children, Jacob and Chrisette, with whom she resides in North Carolina.
